"Sir, Inspection Lang Po..."

It takes almost 2 hours para makarating ako sa Makati from Bulacan...
Pag minamalas at maabutan ng traffic sa NLEX pwede ka pang abutin ng almost 3 hours.

I used to ride the LRT then jeepney pagdating sa Buendia.
This incident happened today pagbaba ko sa Gil Puyat Station...

Nakalimutan ko atang mag wiwi sa bahay kaya sa haba ng byahe pagdating sa Buendia I look for the nearest food chain para mag wiwi.

Since Jollibee ang pinakamalapit na chain pagbaba ng station, I decided to use the CR to do my thing.

Upon entering, there was a warm greetings from the security guard down to the staff.

"Good evening sir, welcome to Jollibee!" - Nice customer service.

Then wiwi...

What surprises me is nang papalabas na ko...

"Sir, inspection lang po..."

The security guard ask for my backpack! For inspection daw!???

For me it was so degrading on customer's part.

Ito na ba ang bagong ruling ng inspection for security purposes? Or sadyang nagmamarunong lang ako dahil hindi man lang ako bumili kahit isang small french fries?

Unfortunately, this is the last day of the PDM (Prescriber Data Management) team in US.

We've been closely working with them for the past year and a half... at ngayong na dissolved ang team nila, we will surely miss these guys.

The things is they established the business for the past years, we've seen them working even at home just to make sure that everything runs well.

Sad to say... binigla sila ng management. Ni hindi man lang sila nakapag-prepare... one of them has been with the company for 25 years... then ganun-ganun lang... it was so unfair for them.

But then, what inspires me is the hope and the trust they have for the purpose which is about to unfold...

A letter from the senior manager:

"...I feel like I am leaving my family.... My sincere appreciation for the heartfelt words- words of encouragement, words of gratitude, words filled with love. I could not do a great job without the support of a great team – a team of people that have unconditional intentions filled with love.

It is sad; however I know that there is a higher purpose, one I have not seen yet, however GOD has that all mapped out for me to unfold....

Please continue to grow and be the best you can be with all that you do and continue to do..."

Colleen, Doug, Ruth, Lorraine, Diego and Ty

I will definitely miss this quote from one of their email signatures:

“Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit…” Excellence is standard - not the goal! Working smarter - not harder......
Team - Together each achieves more....

Clock is ticking and so the year 2010!

I didn't realize that we're on a half-way journey to 2010 until I saw our old hand-crafted lantern ready to be light-up few months from now.

Truly that days slips into weeks, weeks into months and months into years...

Before 2010 ends I came up with a few things I want to accomplish/have before the year 2010 bids its goodbye...

1. Secure Another Job
Being in a BPO company for almost 4 years, I want to try something new or at least return in the field of Sales & Marketing or Travel & Hospitality where I enjoy meeting new people and travelling to different places I've never been to.

2. Take A Formal Lesson on Photography
I want to learn the basics and advances on digital photography. And since I enjoy taking moments, I want to improve my skills in this field.

3. Buy a Laptop and a DSLR Camera
Hmmmm... Sounds very unrealistic. But I will do my best to have these gizmos before the year ends.

4. Get Back and Hit the Steels
I want to hit the gym again as regularly as possible. Probably 3x a week is my target. I want to feel and look great.

5. Save! Save! Save!
I've been trying to save a couple of bucks for the past years. But still nothing happened. Nothing has been saved. Self-discipline is the key.

6. Take a Last Local Vacation Trip
Before the year ends I want to travel locally for the last time. I'm looking either Bohol, Anawangin, Bukidnon or Coron (again).

7. Enroll in a Life Insurance.
Before everything ends up, I want to leave something for my loved ones. Something that they can use to start over. Sad... but it is a fact.

Hopefully I can get these stuffs done before I welcome 2011. I'll keep you posted.
Start your list now!... before it's over :)
