on his birthday...
11.25.2010 50 °C
I’ve been very busy for these past weeks.
Hope nobody misses this blog… haha!
Just celebrated my birthday last Nov 5 and it was fun.
Turned a year older? In age yes but not in looks… as I guess. :D
We turned older every year and so our beliefs.
We think that as we get older we need to change everything – the way we look (yes, or else we don’t want to be same child who plays nude in the rain!), the way we act, see things, emotions, perceptions, assumptions…
I don’t care if someone wants to evolve from nothing to something.
It’s true that we need to change to move forward, but this does not mean that we need to leave the child in us.
The same innocent child – capable to believing in miracles.
The only difference I see between a child and an adult is the fear of showing emotions.
A child can show his emotions, fearlessly…
As I get older last week, I am the same person who was once believes in dreams.
The same person who loves chocolates,
The same person who loves to sing in the rain,
The same person who loves to play patintero,
The same person who was once believed in happily ever after…
But as time passes like grains of sands that slips thru our fingers,
I came to realized that it is not enough to rest the child in us,
We need to learn from every mistake and try not to commit it again.
I may choose to reside the child in me,
But this time I’m stronger.
Life continues to evolve for a man who’s brave enough to accept changes.
Life will always lead us at the center of intersection, to choose between two roads, we must know our dreams and desire it to happen.
Freewill is not something that we can take advantage for behind freewill lies a consequence.
Getting older? No.
Getting wiser? Yes.
